Contemporary Kitchens in Leeds

From the moment you approve your design, your kitchen is typically ready to install within four to six weeks, because every cabinet is built to order in our own Leeds workshop rather than shipped from overseas. The installation itself is usually completed in just three to five days, depending on the size and complexity of your project, with our own fitters, electricians and plumbers handling everything through our complete Kitchen Fitting service. Before any of that begins, we take as much time as you need at the design stage, producing detailed 3D mock-ups so you can see your finished kitchen and make changes before manufacture starts. We will give you a clear schedule at the outset and keep you updated throughout, so you always know exactly when your old kitchen is coming out and your new one is going in.

Absolutely, and in many ways contemporary design is ideally suited to smaller rooms. Clean lines, handleless doors and light-reflective gloss finishes all help a compact kitchen feel bigger and brighter, while clever storage solutions such as full-height larder units, corner pull-outs and deep pan drawers make every centimetre work harder. Because we manufacture our own cabinetry in Leeds, we are never restricted to standard unit sizes, so we can build furniture to fit your room precisely rather than leaving wasted gaps. Our Kitchen Design service begins with a detailed measure of your space, after which our designers will produce a 3D layout that maximises storage and workflow without the room ever feeling cramped. Some of the most impressive kitchens we have fitted across Leeds have been in the smallest spaces, where thoughtful bespoke design makes all the difference.

Worktops play a huge role in defining the contemporary look, and quartz and composite surfaces are by far our most popular choices for this style. Both offer the crisp, architectural appearance the look demands, alongside outstanding durability, stain resistance and easy everyday maintenance, which matters enormously in a busy family kitchen. Marble-effect, concrete-effect and solid-colour finishes all work beautifully against matt and gloss cabinetry, and a glass or tiled splashback completes the scheme while protecting the walls behind your hob. Through our Kitchen Worktops service we supply and fit a wide range of materials and finishes, all colour-matched to your cabinetry and installed with precision by our own team. You can see and touch many of the options at our Leeds showroom, which is by far the easiest way to choose with confidence.

Yes, integrated appliances are central to the contemporary aesthetic, and we plan them into your design from the very beginning. Concealing the fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine behind matching doors keeps the lines of the room completely uninterrupted, while built-in ovens, sleek induction hobs and discreet extractors complete the streamlined look. Through our Kitchen Appliances service we offer an extensive range from trusted leading brands, and because appliances are considered at the design stage rather than as an afterthought, everything sits exactly where it should, both visually and practically. Our designers will also advise on the small details that make a big difference, such as positioning ovens at eye level or planning landing space beside the hob. Seen in your 3D mock-up before manufacture, the result is a contemporary kitchen that works as seamlessly as it looks.

Contemporary is just one of the styles we design and manufacture in Leeds. If you prefer something softer, take a look at our modern kitchens, traditional kitchens and Shaker kitchens, all built to the same made-to-measure standard. Every project starts with our kitchen design service, including 3D mock-ups of your space, and our own fitters handle the kitchen fitting from start to finish. We can also help you choose the right worktops and appliances to complete the room, and if you are updating more than the kitchen, we design and install fitted bedrooms, sliding door wardrobes and walk in wardrobes too.
